Roasting

A warm, aromatic stream of coffee beans spills out of the roaster into the cooling tray at Café Richesse. Temperature, airflow in the roasting drum, the color of the beans -- all these factors and more must be carefully monitored to create the coffees we offer to you. With over 100 different chemicals that change during the roasting process, the goal must be to maximize the particular characteristics of each type of coffee.

Perfecting the taste inherent in each coffee bean by roasting it perfectly -- that's what "the art of taste" is all about!
